Jackie Gagne is Vice President, Multicultural Marketing at HBO where she oversees a team that develops and executes strategic initiatives designed to engage multicultural audiences including Black, Latino, Asian and LGBTQ segments. Gagne’s work positions the brand in a cultural context, highlights multicultural talent and storytellers and shifts multicultural narratives to the center of cultural conversation. Under her leadership, the group has produced numerous award-winning campaigns for all Original Programming franchises.
Gagne joined HBO in 2011 as Director, College Distribution and Marketing. During her tenure, she established HBO’s digital distribution strategy for the college market and helped launch the network’s first streaming platform, HBO GO, in the university space.
Prior to joining HBO, Gagne served as the Director, Direct and Digital Marketing at Six Flags. In this position she developed the theme park company’s digital and social media strategy, launching its first online marketing campaign. She also oversaw all promotional efforts for the park in Mexico City.
Gagne earned a BA in English and Rhetoric from Binghamton University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s pre-eminent honor society.
A first-generation Cuban American, Gagne is committed to being a resource and mentor to young women of color and individuals of diverse backgrounds. She currently serves on the Board of Petals-N-Belles, a mentorship program for girls.
