After enduring a self-admitted “crisis of purpose,” Damali left a successful young career in entertainment public relations to fulfill her true calling as a mentor and leader for at-risk girls.
She has given keynote addresses at the 2014 Boys & Girls High School Health Summit for GIRLS! and the 2014 PS/IS 262 El Hajj Malik Shabazz Elementary School graduation. Damali has also inspired audiences at Montessori Progressive Learning Center, Bronx Lighthouse Charter School, and New York University.
